Guardian Signs is the third installment of the Pokemon Ranger series, once again allowing players to protect Pokemon and the environment from the dangers of “Pokenappers”. This time we visit the Oblivia region where Pokemon Pinchers have been causing a disturbance. What makes this game incredible from the beginning is your partner: Ukulele Pichu. How could anyone be unhappy walking around with a Pichu carrying around a Ukulele on his back, ready for action?
By befriending Pokemon, you gain their abilities to help out in sticky situations. To get them to help out, the player must draw their “Ranger Sign” with the stylus. This way, even the legendary Entei, Raikou and Suicune will come to your aid. The ranger also captures Pokemon by drawing circles around it with a Capture Stylus, which also continually gains new abilities. There is also multiplayer capability, so you can do missions with your friends. Guardian Signs should be out this fall!

Not too many heavy hitters are coming out in June, but that doesn’t mean there will be a lack of quality games. After the break you’ll find the games you should be on the lookout for the second half of this month. There are a couple that aren’t getting enough publicity, but people should be paying more attention. You’ll see them first thing after the jump.

If you’ve been following this website, then you know that we’ve been covering Xenoblade quite a bit. I have admitted multiple times that I am much more excited for The Last Story, but the more I see on Xenoblade, the more it claws its way up my hype list.
Xenoblade is an action RPG where the game world takes place on the bodies of ancient gods. The environments look stunning, the music is fantastic, and the names behind the game are nothing short of promising.
Don’t ignore this one, people.

I haven’t played any of the F.E.A.R. games, but I have watched enough of them to know that the gameplay in the trailer looks good. Too bad there wasn’t more of it. Instead, we have some wonderful “college film student” worthy live action screens that no one wants to see, even if it shows a little of co-op that was mentioned earlier last month. This makes me question Warner Bros. Interactive, especially when trailers for their other games like Batman: Arkham Asylum are wonderfully done.
Either way, F.E.A.R. 3, or F.3.A.R., will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC sometime in the third quarter of 2010.

For one of the first times ever, I watched a Call of Duty trailer specifically looking for something new. Usually I’m fine with just watching all of the explosive action, but not this time. I’ve seen explosions, I’ve seen snow covered mountains, helicopters, etc. Sure there isn’t much more you can do after that, maybe add an explosive crossbow, throw us into Vietnam, and give your characters a little more personality. The crossbow is cool though!
Hopefully we’ll see a little more at E3. Call of Duty: Black Ops will be out November 9th for PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, and PC.

There is so much coming out this month, so we thought we’d give you a little info on the best ones coming out for each system. So why not start with Nintendo, which is actually making me excited for the first time in awhile.

And no, that guy with the helmet is not an astronaut, but SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance pilot. Those guys flew so high and fast that the extremely high temperatures and lack of oxygen would have killed them.
Either way, as of now it’s hard to see what we’re dealing with, but the video is pretty cool, so check it out.

Very very creepy. I absolutely can’t wait for this game.
I normally hate sequels and write them off, but for some reason I feel like Dead Space 2 is going to come through.
You know, unlike Bioshock 2.

If you watch that trailer and don’t smile, you have no soul.
Ilomilo will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Not sure when yet, but I know it will be a first day download for me.

Co-op, hm? Still isn’t enough to get the bad play session at PAX East out of my head. I felt like they didn’t upgrade anything, so maybe I’ll rent this one eventually to try it out.
