I do agree they should remove the hm prompt but also remove most the Hm's like whirlpool, waterfall, and why the hell did they ADD rockclimb? I either find myslef crippling my main pokemon or makeing pack mules for 2-3 parts in the game. I never had a problem making a party I liked, if I want later pokemon I just breed them. I have 67 hours gameplayed and my current party is all lvl 54's with machobrace Typlosion, Gengar, Scizor (bred), Mamoswine (bred), Crowbat, and red Gyarados. I have never had a problem with wild pokemon, if I get sick of killing them I use the radio/blackflute blocks for like 50 steps even with my bike, at start of game if you dont want to just take breif pauses. besides from those I agree with all your points, yea its a 7/10 game but I still have 63 hours game play and am probably not going to stop till like 200.
