For those of you keeping up with Xbox Live’s Game Room, seven more titles are now available to download. Included in the package are Konami’s Time Pilot, Asteroids, and Space Duel, Activision’sStampede and Grand Prix, Intellivision’s Shark! Shark! Shark! and Atari’s Demons to Diamonds. As always it is free to download the pack and play demos, but purchasing titles for keeps will cost 240-400 MSP.

For one of the first times ever, I watched a Call of Duty trailer specifically looking for something new. Usually I’m fine with just watching all of the explosive action, but not this time. I’ve seen explosions, I’ve seen snow covered mountains, helicopters, etc. Sure there isn’t much more you can do after that, maybe add an explosive crossbow, throw us into Vietnam, and give your characters a little more personality. The crossbow is cool though!
Hopefully we’ll see a little more at E3. Call of Duty: Black Ops will be out November 9th for PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, and PC.

So, every week we used to just write out the games that were coming out and then put the launch trailers in separate posts. Well, why not throw it all into one convenient place? Here you’ll find ALL the games coming out this week, and trailers to accompany them. Enjoy!
First, the list of the biggest releases this week are after the break!

While no one likes waiting, I’m personally happy to see this delay. Last night was hard enough having to decide between Red Dead Redemption, Alan Wake, Prince of Persia, Split/Second and Bit. Trip Runner. Let’s not even get started on Mario Galaxy 2 coming out this weekend. My wallet needs a break!

So, we’ve been doing a lot of thinking and came to some conclusions. We were doing a little bit too much news and not enough features or articles that we wanted to do. We got away from everything we set down as a stepping stone for the most part, so with the new site layout we are rectifying that problem.
But we find ourselves at a crossroads. We have many available options in front of us, but to make sure we’re doing the right thing, we’re turning to you guys.
The new poll is in the right sidebar. It relates to content you find on the site, and we’re curious on what you guys think we should do. Should we keep it as it is now? Should we go Nintendo only? or maybe Xbox 360 only? Should we abandon news altogether? Let us know. Any suggestions beyond your answer can be left on this post!

So, in our absence the past two weeks we made a lot of site changes. Not all of them are visible to you, so here’s a quick rundown of the things we changed/will be changed as this week continues.
- First, we had a really annoying cache issue that was stopping the site from updating unless you hit “refresh”. This has been fixed and everybody should see the updates immediately. The tab updates and such seem to still take a min if you click on us from a bookmark, but it’s faster than before.
- Our logo was alright, but boring. We’ve decided to go with a weekly banner that showcases a huge game coming out that week with our name incorporated. These banner changes will go live on Monday mornings, unless a game comes out on a Sunday.
- You’ll notice some new tabs at the top of the right side-bar. These were more than necessary and we’re sorry we took so long on getting them up.
- We also cleaned up the reviews/release dates tab into two separate tabs. Now the release date tab looks a lot cleaner and more readable, while the reviews aren’t mixed in with random bolding and such.
- The announcements box no longer takes up the whole top of the feed. It will only include a link to the most recent thing we want you to see, and the tabs will be used for what was there before.
- We’ve added a “staff” picture beside posts that include more than one of us. For example, on our reviews, it would only show who made the post, which made some people think only one person wrote it. This is no longer the case.
- The search bar was moved from the far right to now line up with the right side of the site. Wasn’t a huge issue, but it was an annoyance.
- Remember that Versus feature we did with Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing? That’s going to be a monthly feature.
- Along with his editorials, expect Alex to be included in more discussion type posts, like our huge E3 one we’ll have coming up. Who knows, you may see some new staffers along the way as well!
- No user login system yet. We messed around with one, but we weren’t impressed. We’ll have an update on this in this week’s podcast.
The biggest change that could potentially take place isn’t happening yet, but don’t be surprised if it does. We’re thinking about making this a Nintendo only site, BUT we aren’t going to do that until we get some input from the community. So, let us know what you think of these changes and this idea!
*PS – We’re also going to be throwing some more ideas your way, so make sure to legit let us know what you think.

Okay everyone. There are quite a few kinks behind the scenes here that really need to be ironed out. It’s not all stuff that’s completely obvious on the outside, so it’s hard to explain. We do know that the site doesn’t update without being refreshed sometimes. This has hurt users returning and user response, so we need to figure out if it’s a hosting or coding issue. On top of that, we have a few other things happening in weird places that needs to be looked into ASAP.
The site isn’t stopping, oh no. We’ll actually have a few new things to look forward to when we make the site live again. Just give us a few days to make it better for everyone visiting. Right now it’s kind of a pain!
To Facebook/Twitter people: We’ll still be updating twitter/facebook with stuff that’s announced. That way we can discuss it there
. Just don’t leave us! We’ll be back before you know it (most importantly, before these huge releases hit us over the next couple weeks). We figured this could be done on this slow week while we have time. Thanks for sticking with us!

Well, Gamestop has let loose quite the announcement killer. Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will be the next game in the Assassin’s Creed series.
Now, all we really know about it is that is has multiplayer and will NOT be Assassin’s Creed 3. Consider this more of a continuation of the Ezio storyline.
Ubisoft also announced H.A.W.X. 2. Kinda wish it was a game about fauxhawks. Probably better than what the real thing will be, am I right?!
